SUMMER PROGRAMME

Although children enjoy time off from school during summer, it’s a challenge to engage their interests for two whole months. 

The Summer Day Camp Program for children between the ages of 5 and 12 offered by Cornerstone Montessori Prep School, Toronto is a great place to socialize, have fun and be active in a safe and supervised environment.

Run by the Chinese Presbyterian Church, our fun-filled day camp provides a positive environment for children to express themselves. It gives them an opportunity to develop interpersonal skills while spending time among friends. We help reaffirm their Christian values of love, respect and service through co-operation and daily Bible Study.

We also have a separate program for pre-schoolers aged 2 to 5 years as well as a Summer School for academic subjects, ESL and music for Grades 1 to 12.

Highlights of Summer Day Camp

• It’s a full-day program that runs from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday during July and August.
• Registration is for a minimum of 2 weeks (3 week minimum for summer school)
• Our summer camp is run by knowledgeable, experienced and trained staff.
• We have a low instructor/camper ratio to ensure adequate supervision and safety.
• Swimming once a week at an indoor swimming pool is supervised by qualified lifeguards.
• Full hot lunch and snacks are provided so you don’t have to worry about preparing meals every morning.
• Special programs such as Drama, Robotics, Science and Music
• Daily vacation Bible Study sessions reinforce Christian principles.
• A free camp T-shirt is provided to all participants.

Cornerstone’s Summer Day Camp encourages young children as well as teenagers to interact with people of their own age through sports, singing, games and other camp activities. It also shows them how to follow Christ's example in serving others and helps build their self-esteem.

What to Wear and What to Bring:  Campers are required to dress in comfortable and practical clothing with extra jackets in case of inclement weather. All must wear running shoes and bring their bathing suits and towels on swimming days. Campers are also requested to bring their own sun block lotions.
